Privacy notice

This notice, provided under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), explains how we process the personal data of people who visit this site and people who contact us.

Browsing data
The server hosting this site automatically records some technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, requested page, response code, browser and operating system. We use this data to keep the site running and secure, and to detect abuse or attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for up to 5 weeks and then deleted automatically, unless needed to investigate unlawful activity.
Data you send us
The contact form sends the data you enter to our server, which forwards it to our business mailbox without storing it in a database. To protect the form from automated submissions, the server keeps an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address for up to 24 hours, which cannot be used to recover the address. If you write to us through the form or directly by email, we process the data you provide (name, company, email address, message content) to answer your request and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal or quote.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this data as long as needed to handle your request and no longer than 12 months after our last contact, unless a contract follows: in that case we keep it for the duration of the contract and for the periods required by civil and tax law.
Cookies and third-party tools
This site does not use cookies, either for profiling or analytics, and does not use tracking tools. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so browsing the site sends no data to third-party providers. Links to other sites (such as the ITG shop or LinkedIn) lead to services with their own privacy notices.
Who receives the data
Data is processed by the controller's authorised staff. The site is hosted on infrastructure managed by our affiliated company IT AND GENERAL LIMITED, in the United Kingdom, acting as processor under Art. 28 GDPR; the transfer to the United Kingdom relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Data may also be processed by our email provider, acting as processor. Data is not published or passed to third parties for marketing. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards under Articles 45 and 46 GDPR.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing or to receive it in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR). To exercise your rights, write to itg-it@itg-shop.eu or to the PEC address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Is providing data required?
Providing data through the form or by email is optional, but without it we cannot answer your request.
